The one we call "Big Man" is getting bigger every day. You see the middle picture above with my hand by his face? Well, go back into the archives, into June, I think, and you'll see just how much he's grown. His now somewhere around 9 pounds, probably a little more. He has the usual chubby-cheeked baby look. And his thighs are huge. I think he is going to be a biker. I would say, "biker like his dad" but I can't lay claim to that title just yet. See this link: www.kincaderideforthecure.blogspot.com.

He doesn't cry much, but he fusses a lot. We think there might be a little stomach disturb"
nce there, like acid reflux or just general sensitive tummy. We can usually get him calm again but it takes a few minutes. Laura met with a lactation consultant who advised having him sit up as much as possible for 15 minutes after each feeding, which works some, but not totally. She also confirmed that the kid is indeed getting his nutritional needs met. Sometimes with a vengeance. So, we've all but stopped formula, but we do need to still give him vitamins. Which taste horrible, by the way. They lay claim to a "fruity taste" but I bet they're hoping that no curious parent tests that. Well, test I did, and I made the same face Christian makes. If fruit tastes like cough syrup, then, it tasts fruity.

Laura gets the credit for doing most of the parenting work. I provide some coverage while she's showering and eating, and that's about it. Between work and training, I'm afraid I haven't been much help. If you sympathize, (or even if you don't), you can make me feel better by donating to the JDRF "Ride to Cure Diabetes," by clicking on the link to the right, click on the bicycle logo, then donate under my name. It will at least validate my time away from home!
