Christian and Isaac sharing a meal, sort of.

Is this bib big enough?

Going on a run.

Getting ready to go out.

I'll wear the blue coat today, mom.

Christian still isn't crawling, but is inching ever closer. He keeps leaning forward to try and then either falling forward or just leaning back. I think I said two weeks ago that it would be any day now, and it will still be any day now.

He has no teeth yet but is self-feeding pretty much every meal. We still supplement a bit with formula and breast milk, but he now picks up and eats carrots, green beans, cheerios, rice chex, and today he even ate an entire meatball.

We now have a double-stroller that Laura can use when babysitting Claire, Mike and Sarah's one-year old. We will have to get some pictures of them both in it. That makes 3 strollers that we have! I guess you could call us collectors. Laura also watched 3 babies today, successfully. Claire, Christian, and Sullivan, Gabe and Renee's 3 month-old. Myself, I can't even make it an entire day watching one baby.

On our way to Starbucks.

Good one Dad! You are so funny!

In fact I think you're the funniest man in the world!

You mean I have to drink out of a cup now?

Christian still isn't crawling but he keeps falling forward while sitting up and he can inch around a bit. We can wait on the crawling. We are told by those who seem to know that we will miss the non-crawling days once he starts crawling, so we will wait patiently.

He will pick up a sippy cup and drink from it all by himself. Although he spits most of the water back up and starts blowing into it after a couple of drinks. And soon it becomes a toy, chewed on, turned upside down, thrown, etc.

Since we bought our jogging stroller, I haven't gone on a single run without him. We splurged on a real nice one and it is like pushing air. It has 16 inch wheels, shock absorbers, and is super light. In fact, Christian sleeps almost the entire run. I kill 3 birds with one stone -- exercise, give Laura a baby-break, and he gets his nap in. I am not sure how long of a run I should take him on but so far I've run over 8 miles and he does just fine.
