Bikin' and Trikin'

So it's been nearly a month since my last update, I know, I'm getting bad at this. But, our old digital camera was on the fritz and I just got a new one. As if I needed to take more pictures of my kid, (there must be 1000 already) I am now a shutterbug again. I will spare most of you having to look at all of them but, if you simply must, (grandparents, aunts, uncles, curious onlookers) send me an email and I'll hook you up with our ofoto website.

Laura turned 30 on August 16th and we celebrated at Lincoln Park in West Seattle. Had great weather most of the time; it only ended up raining as we were packing up to leave. Christian had great fun playing in the box with Claire and also did really well for not napping all day.

Christian is not really walking on his own just yet, but he has taken a few steps and will walk when we hold his hand. He probably could walk without us holding his hand but he gets a little scared. When I let go of his hand, he squats in a kind of "hush, did you hear that?" kind of pose, and eventually drops to the ground and crawls. But we went to a wedding reception today with a ton of kids running around and I am in no hurry for him to walk. At least now I know where he is, (kind of).

Well it's almost midnight so I am off. Hopefully less than a month before our next update.
