Mom hugs her little pumpkin

Waiting for the great pumpkin

A boat in a pumpkin patch. Makes lots of sense.

Going on a hayride

Playing with the big kids on a pirate ship -- in a pumpkin patch?

We went to the Craven Farms pumpkin patch this Sunday with Christian. The only disappointing thing about the pumpkin patch was the pumpkins. Everything else was really cool. The pumpkin patch had already been picked over and raided by birds. You can't tell from the pics but the pumpkins in the patch were mostly rotten and partially eaten by vermin. But we still had fun. There was a hayride and baby animals to pet. Christian got bitten by a goose but it wasn't too bad. He just looked confused.

He now has about 20 words, most of which we even understand. Some new words that I don't think we've mentioned are "milk", "eat", "play", "diaper" and "bless you." He also has totally gone past walking and simply runs everywhere he goes.

One last pic at grandma & grandpa Kincade's house

Sorry it's been so long since our last update but we've been a week at grandma and grandpa Kincade's in Tulsa, (as you can see by many of the pics above) and I just haven't had time to sit down and update the blog yet.

We had a great time in Tulsa. Christian really enjoyed running around the house and getting all the attention. We also got him outside on a few outings since the weather was so nice. We had a great time at the Tulsa zoo and even got in half price since they are in the same zoo club as the Seattle zoo. Christian had fun riding the train there and looking at all the big animals, bears, rhinos, elephants. He also had fun looking at the fish and just running around. We went on a Monday so it was nearly empty. And of course his grandparents just loved having him around running and playing and overall being a kid. He was a very good boy the whole time.

Back in Seattle we are having an early start to our winter and it is already dreary and damp. We have to look for more indoors things for him to do now. Hopefully next update will be less than a month.
