Christian enjoying his new Christmas present from Grandma and Grandpa
Horsing around on Christmas morning with Isaac and Corinna
Wearing mom's shoes
Christian's new thing is putting on grown up shoes and trying to walk. What's scary is he is getting pretty good at it. Of course, mom's shoes are easier since she has such tiny feet.
On Christmas morning the four families with kids decided to get together and have brunch, since none of us had any other commitments. The kids really enjoyed romping around with each other as you see above. We also had aebleskivers, (Danish pancake balls) which are the perfect food for little kids. Small, no crumbs, and easy to eat. Also, I can eat one whole, which isn't the idea, but still, they're good.
His vocabulary is getting huge. He knows lots of animals and foods. (He doesn't know which animals are food, but that will come). He will nod yes and shake his head and say "no" when asked questions, and usually the answers are even appropriate, like, "Do you want to go to bed"? -- "No." "Do you want to eat?" and he will nod yes, and say "eat". I think he understands what we say pretty much all the time, which can be scary.
His new favorite book is "Doggies" by Sandra Boynton. He especially likes the little dog on the last page that growls. He will mimic the dogs howling when that page comes.
Here is some more video cuteness of him below:
