Christian was "adopted" this Easter for his Easter egg hunt by a teenage girl, (see top pic above). She helped him find all his eggs and even weeded out the potential choking hazards and gave them to mom. We forgot to get her number for possible babysitting.

Christian is starting to communicate with us really well. Today at University Village we were headed back to the car (after browsing kids books) and before we got to the car he said "wee wee". I looked at him confused and again he said "wee wee!" Then I realized that U Village has a slide that he likes to play on. He not only knew where we were, but knew how to ask to go to play on the slide. How could I say no?

Weird thing that you don't really need to know: I somehow came down with hand, foot and mouth disease. It's a rare illness that mostly affects kids. It goes away after about a week but you get a fever, sore throat, and painful blotches on your hands and feet. We think Christian might have had it and given it to me but we're not sure. Just in case I'm being extra careful not to kiss him or share food, which is hard because I usually snack on a little of what he has to eat.
